What is the one thing that is always with us? Our breath. When we are born, the first thing we do is inhale. At our death, the last thing we do is exhale.

Let’s start with a Creation myth: At the conception of our spirit, the Creator carved off a piece of Itself and blew it in to us. This became our divine spark — the part of us that is forever connected to the Sacred, to others, and to all of Creation. The Sacred blows upon this ember each time we inhale. We share ourself with the Sacred, and the World each time we exhale.

When we are born, the first thing that we do is inhale. At our death, the last thing we do is exhale.  The rhythm of Ruah/Ruach, the Spirit of the Sacred, flows through us each in-between breath.

This meditation focuses on bringing Ruah, the Holy Spirit into our being with our breath. And, recharging through the breath of life. Enjoy!
